Quite a good attmept and congratulations, ma'am. If you don't mind, may I make a few suggestions?
Exact alignment must be attempted when cutting and pasting, unless it is not possible. The eyes have the knack of catching any misalignment. I like the central motif. The distortion gives a novel look. The pink and the green on the orange background somehow do not go well (to me). They may be substituted with subdued colours. Colours are only a means to create beauty, not an end in itself. Individually the colours may be good, but as a combination, they must click together. I am always reminded by an Agassi commercial of his early days when he was quite brash. This is tennis season, right? How many of you remember those commercials (is it for canon)? He will splash colours on the walls and pour one over the other, quite hilarious!

Yes, Subashini, any kolam with out a comment from Mr.mOhanaji looks incomplete. In the beginning I too was feeling like you. But later realised that there is some point in his silence also.Even though you were also trying so many padikolams in computer media, like him ,he is silently admiring your starting trouble , improvement and slow but steady improvement. Since u r using a medium in which he is a Master,so he didn't want to discourage you in the beginning by pointing out the minus features. So his silence only made you to try again and again in that line to finally get his comments.
I think not only you but all ikolam members value his comments (followed by helping clues) like an appreciation from a Guru.
So sweet Subashini - I never thought that my small small encouraging comments would have such an impact on you, but I believe in that formula because it is only when you receive appreciation that you will want to give something better next time. Also I like your enthusiasm - keep it going Subashini we are always there :)
