Pretty in pink! I don't know the religious significance of this. But the six-fold inside is not in sync with the overall symmetry (8, 8, 12, 16, 32).

Thanks everybody. I agree with you Mohanaji, and I was aware of it when I made it. But what to do, since I am not familiar with the symbol-usage as far as the yantras are concerned, I followed the basic Rama yantra pattern, and the star happens to be in the center of it all. I didn't have the guts to change any element (for fear of committing a sin...who knows). :)

Lata, I was just thinking to convey my suggestions to you regarding the posting of comments to the rangoli. After we post a comment to the rangoli we do not get the thumbnail images of the other kolam which was displayed on the same day. Now you have provided "related rangoli's", instead of this is it possible to display the rangoli's which you upload ( It will be easy to post the comment to all the rangolis one by one. Now i feel for each and every kolam we have to go to the main page and click the kolam and comment ? sometimes we are unable to comment on daily basis, there will be a lot of rangolis to be commented at that point of time i feel very difficult to reach the kolam where i stopped. REally this is also a good idea of introducing a new row of related rangolis.
