Awesome Judy....nice to see ur recent floor (road) kolams...often...so gifted u r with such a lovely tar road....d inner triangle designs have come out so nicely judy....
Bright and bold on tar road Judy...-Indira Sundar
Judy, very nicely and neatly drawn. If you have put colored lines it would have been more beautiful. If no color powder you could have used color chalk piece.I think to get the weaving effect we shold give some gap at the place of overlapping. Anyhow I am so happy that you gave me company in copying mOhanaji's great creations. I expect your own creation also.

Very beautifully and neatly drawn,judy
Thanks a lot Rani and Indira for your comments. Yes I love the tar road outside my house only that it is a little bit hollow where I put the kolams so I have some difficulty sweeping all the water away before putting kolams. Moreover since I mix arsimaavu in my kolapodi - even if there is little water the dots and lines start breaking and it is a task before I am able to get a perfect kolam sometimes which is quite frustrating. Since elections are slotted for May next year hope to get another layer of tar soon - this time I will ensure they make my kolam spot a little elevated than the rest of the road :)
Rajam I was eager to see your comments - thanks. Yes, first I too thought of using different colours, weaving the sections like you both had done but on second thoughts I decided to give a different dimension by making it in plain white without the weaves and this is what I landed up with. Colour chalk on the tar road is impossible as I will have to use loads of chalk before I am able to complete one kolam. I definitely want to make more such kolams and hope I am able to spare some time soon.. Thanks Veni for your appreciation :)
Judy, If you have Deeparam's mud floor I am sure all your kolams will be glittering. But even this cement base is looking nice only. Thanks for the comments on my Green gingucha kolam. u r already dreaming of the Saturday Meet is it? ( But I was expecting comments for my ikolam birthday wishes with a Tamil poem which u all ignored,)

Glad to see your sOna edition Judy. The equilateral triangles have come out very nice. The different texture of the road looks nice... It looks almost the same of mOhanaji's work except for the interweaving and colors..
Who is purva toskar? Tried copy and Option here!
very nice jude mam.
lovely kolam...it looks like a printed one on the floor...uniform strokes...looks awesome mam.
Fantastic Judy. Rajamma maam there u have a partner. I am sure all of us would love to see more from both of u
Haiya! Judy madam road-kku vanduttango! (kolam poda!)
Very well drawn, looks like a bright star in the dark night sky :-) I am happy and overwhelmed by your kindness and courtesy, ma'am. My interest is purely theoretical. It is only artists like you and Mrs rAjamma who bring life to my static images.
Regards! - mOhana
Very Nice kolam Judy. The background(floor) also very palich
cool...very nice judy
u exactly reproduced.. good ..
u must also have used colors :)
I am literally flying in the sky now JKM - one of the best compliments I have ever received from you. Please feel free to call me Judy (no ma'am). Even though your interest is purely theoretical, the designs are awesome and so very tempting that I immediately take a pencil and paper and try to copy in my kolam book. I would love to try every single design but there are many constraints at the moment . I am so happy that I was able to try atleast one of them and get such praises from everyone and especially you. This is enough to boost my enthu to try the more difficult ones - but only as soon as I get enough time as I am now gearing up for the visit of my mum's sister and hubby from Australia end November who will be in India for atleast 1-1/2 months and there will be lots for me to do while they are here. Even during Margazhi this year don't know how many days I will be able to put kolams.
I feel really proud to have given life to your image (as you said) - will definitely try with colours next time. Thanks once again JKM for giving us such wonderful designs :)
Rajam, yes dreaming of Pachai kalar jinguchaa meet only two more days to go na... Sorry dear I did not see that page at all. I had not visited for sometime during that period so I only posted comments on kolams, did not go to cafe nor blog - will definitely read now and give my views :)
Purva why did you copy my words and paste it??
Thanks Vinci, Malar, Sowmya, Pushpa (will definitely give more as soon as I can, Jaya (ungala maadri compoundukulla peria space ellam illaiye - (I dont have big space inside the compound like you)), Jayanthi, Anirudh and Jaanu for your lovely comments :)
Judy, we are all like actors. Without a good script and talented director like Mr.mOhanaji, we cannot do wonders no? rajamma
