Can someone please enlighten me what is kanya kolam? If I were to use this basic idea, what are the motifs. features of this kolam should be maintained that makes it a kanya kolam? Are there other designs that are called kanya kolam? Thank you for your time!

kanya kolam is the basic inner design in this picture. usually for all auspicious days we put this kolam. may be tuesday and friday also. I think my answer is correct.
