The solitary flower is so densely packed, richly decorated. The orange part reminds me of "'gaajar ka halwa"! :)

very nice ...after dosa batter & now its cocount scrapping...novel idea.....hmm whats next???......i remeberred one artist who was interviewed in TV, he collects used tea dust and the coffee dust from the hotels and makes dolls using it.....so if brown color needed then you can use the used tea/coffee powder .....nice ways for recycling :)
yes lataji...me too not seeing the recent kolams link....but had in my favorites http://ikolam.com/recent_kolams :)
.... by the way...the daimond shaped petals are looking like colored coconut burfies with additional gaajar ka halwa :)...thanks for the yummy treat Judyji :)
Quite a nice barphI! Very creative indeed.
I belive latAjI temporarily disabled the link to recent kOlams so that people can concentrate on the wooden dolls! But then why upload new kOlams? I am confused.
Regards! - mOhana
Very beautuful creative work
Thanks friends for your wonderful comments and encouragement - let's see what to do next... Anirudh infact I had already used tea leaf in one of my kolams earlier (remember the one I filled with chillie, dhanya and saffron powder??)
Yes Lata I too thought of carrot halwa when I saw the kolam on my kitchen slab..
Hehe Rajamma - sathiyama naa poruppu illai :P
Thanks Sowmya and Sumathi :)
Subashini I am amazed how you dish out different poems everytime - thanks a lot :)
Actually Anirudh I purposely made the petals in that shape to remind everyone of coconut barfi :)
JKM I am honoured - thanks :)

Good idea, Judy! Is it easy to spread? I'm asking this because it will be very light, no? Did you sun-dry it after adding colors?
I think you are having a coconut tree in your house judi?
