Looks like Anirudh has started spring clean up early! We'll be starting ours a couple of weeks from now. I hope you find more art treasures along the way :)

Its rangoli, drawn on paper and then painted :) pretty old one, kept for my reference....This was done in my school days and Ganapanna/Ganeshji/Kadavule (is my/our best friend) bagged me the first prize in the school rangoli competition...it was a tough competition with all the senior girls :), who were experts...and i am thankful to Ganeshji to get through the it... I did not have the luxury to take the photograph at that time....in the comming festival, i will definitely make it. Thank you all.

It would be nice to get translation for the following Kannada words: chnnagi bhandhidhe - hase hakabeku antha noduva nimma ee ganesha nanu ee sathi copy madabahudeno. does madidikke mean - to do, have done? Thank you, -Lata

Helps a lot mOhanji! Thank you so much! I was only able get a few words after googling, (without having to pay for translation services) :)

A slight correction to mohanaji's translation of the sentence hase hakabeku antha - wanting to put the rangoli rangoli also called as hase in kannada Since mane {wooden slab} is always accompanied by rangoli, it is called "hase mane" (rangoli wooden slab) Nagashree
