Very nice copy cat kolam.Yes, Ammuchandhini,normally we used to draw such type of traditional padikolams on festival days and on Fridays in Thai and Aadi months.

Very beautifully drawn kolam, Chitra. The centre portion looks attractive with contrasting colours. A small suggestion please. It is always better to acknowledge the person who has made the original version of any copy cat kolam. Please mention the name of the person or the reference from where you have referred to this (instead of simply saying that it is a copy cat kolam). Normally, JKM sir would advice all of us like this. Please don't mind me saying this, my dear friend.

Thanks for the suggestion Maha, but i dont know from where i got it, i copied some kolams long back and i dont have a record otherwise i would have mentioned. hereafter i will make a note of it from which site or from whose gallery i am copying.
