Dear Ms.Lakshmi, the one at the bottom left, does have the "middle dots"/interleaved dots (also called alternate dots). All others have dots going parallel. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. :)
Judy Ma'am, Ur set of kolams are very very sweet as you..... easy and neat.... Thanks a lot for sharing them with us and for being so thoughtful.... Hats off to you, Ma'am....
Thanks so much Lakshmi, Lakshmi 2000, Lata (for your kind explanation), Indhu, Jaya and Purni :) This sure makes me want to do more and more - watch out friends :)
Nice assemblage and display! What inspired my curiosity is the bottom panel. I have hardly seen any rangOli drawn in black (leave alone computer creations) with black dots, black strokes on a white background. Granted it is messy! But still I am eager to see such creations. Any volunteers?
Regards! - mOhana
very nice Judiji...i like the fourth one...simple and neat, shadings and the dots are adding more effect.
yes mOhanaji....drawing using black is messy one, hmmm....may be will try some time, but definitely would get scolding from mom for using black :)
Thank you Pushpa.
Sailaja - actually that is my main aim, because when I learnt to draw kolams, no one was there to teach or guide me and since I want the future generation to continue this wonderful tradition I am trying to make it easy for everyone to follow - and looks like I have achieved it to some extent..
Thanks JKM and Anirudh - hmmmm let's see if I can come up with a white based black kolam for JKM one of these days :)
