My first Navaratri festival pictures celebrated in Kuwait.
I did not find much of items here in kuwait & managed to do with what I had.

Divine decorations with lots of jewellery and a pretty rose garland..
hello everybody,
thanks for youre encouraging comments.
I would like to share on how I decorated this..
The face of the God is the Kavasam and its been tied to the KuthuVilaku
I stuffed some sponge for the body & legs.
I arranged to get the flowers from india .The garland is made out of rose petals (little tiring as it took me 2.5 hrs)
My mother-in-law bought the wooden veena from Mylapore some years back!
Here there is no temple in Kuwait. I have joined a group which perform weekly puja. We read "Lalitha & Vishnu Sahasranamam". The puja is done in one of the members' house in turns.
During Navaratri, we have continuous puja for 9 days where we chant many devi slokas. Its quite lively during these days.
I'm pleased to share all these details with iKolamites
Thanks again!
