Ugh, I'm very disappointed in myself for not commenting on this chikku kolam. I remember seeing it, not sure how it slipped my mind though. At that time whenever I saw your kolams on this floor I used to think you're quite lucky to have such a canvas/flooring. It must've a bit difficult to finish the inside portion first before getting to the outer parts, I guess. I also see that there isn't much of a wiggle room around the top area, which could only mean that one would've had to plan well before attempting such a big circular kolam on the floor. YOu seem to have managed beautifully, also like your lotus add-ons on all four sides. Thanks for reminding me about this version Maha. And a bigger thanks for trying this piece in your style with powder on this type of a floor. :)

Thanks a lot Suguna for your comments. Thanks a lot Lata, for commenting on my version of your kolam. Yes, i did a careful planning before placing the dots. I occupied almost the pavemet area, without allowing anyone to freely move-on. But my neighbours didn't complain anything for this and they enjoyed a lot on seeing this kolam. Mahalakshmi
