Ho my god!!!! Amazing rangoli. How it can be possible to do this. Really i have no words!!! Hats off to u.... can you please teach me the way that you hav colored
Oh my god! That looks like a painting, graphic work, much more than a humbe rangoli. i cant wait to know how have you done. many are waiting to know. I also liked the central origami piece, which is quite colourful, like your art work.
Nagashree
One of the great masterpieces I have witnessed. Of course, deservedly she won the prize! But where is she now? Apart from the three contest rangOlis her gallery does not contain any other.

Thanks to riya and jkm sir to have brought out this rangoli which i haven't seen here earlier....wow...is it possible to make such a wonderful piece of art...i am stunned...there r lots of details to be learnt.....thanks u nicole....pl come back for us....
Rani, this Rangoli has "been" on the front page for about 7 days now, and you only noticed it today? :)
Looks like you only see the small square display on the front page everyday and nothing else. :0

but how could u say that latha mam...i also enjoy giving comments in d craft section too na....oh that too is included in ur small square display in d homepage aah...ok ok...i will change d power of my glasses today itself...hehe
Well, Your highness, the craft section has only been here for two days, and it also happens to be right below the "small square". But, yes, it wouldn't hurt to change the power of your glasses too. :) Maybe then, you would be inspired to take a look into other people's galleries (not necessarily of friends) and dig out old treasures, and surprise other people in the process too, with your lovely comments. :)
sure sure latha ....EYES WIDE OPEN from now on...and dont blame me if i get inspired too much and start doing all kolams from my friends over here.....hehe
OMG! wonderful. The black/brown background gives a fine contrast. Very symmetrical and colourful. Is it only a part of a big rangoli? I can see further designs on all sides. The centre piece is a type of paper folding, isn't it? What is it called? That too is very lovely.
oh i had missed to see the modular origami model...is it a basket with rainbow handle? which has got nicely camouflaged within the lovely carpet ...here is a video of making a swan in similar way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xlwq1dnt3g, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivakjmfemau & some more samples http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pklq0oi0np8
