Big and Beautiful Kolam. Uniform spreading of colors and the detailing work enhances the beauty. Is it done on special occassion or for competition.. I can see another huge one on the side. Good you have a large space for drawing kolams :) The experts will guide you on color symmetry.

Thanks for your comment. This kolam done on marghazhi month. Apart from Marghazhi we used to put big padi kolam on all functions.

Such a big rangoli! Looks nice. I like the lamps a lot. Maybe this could double up as Christmas rangoli too. I'm imagining how this might have looked had you used same colored flowers, just like the lamps. You might want to try that next time. Could you please also include the dot count for the dotted rangolis? :)

Nice kolam Hema - the flower and lamp combination looks quite different.. A little colour symmetry would have worked wonders to this kolam :)
