thank u veni, push, jaya mam and jasree....push...it is ordinary col kolam maavu mixed with sand thaan pa...may be as i have heeped d col soooo much...it may be giving this texture...thats all....
Rani without reading your description I saw the kolam and I though you cut and pasted your kolam in a line on photoshop and added it below, until I looked at the colours and they did not match. Only then I read what you wrote and then only realised that it was a sticker below. Very well done and lovely colouring. But if you had matched the colours like the sticker then I would have never believed you...
