It does look like it was designed on the computer. But, I was aware of it when I displayed it in this page. I decided to make a few exceptions when I was caught between deciding whether to allow or to disregard. The factors that made me display it for the contest were... the pattern of this dotted kolam, its pleasing personality, clarity, combined with the fact that Padmapriya is a new member here. Or, maybe Padmapriya doesn't care much about winning, she just wanted us to enjoy her work :)
This is a very good effort. Please don't disregard it
just because it was made on paper. Beauty doesn't
ooze only from rice flour or kOlappoDi. If anybody thinks
that one participates in a contest to win a prize (s)he
is deluded. It is to present one's self and ideas as well
as to invite constructive criticism to become a better
artist. This rangoli and its colouring has a mesemerising
effect, at least to me. Best of luck and regards! - mOhana
