That is because this is quite a usual kolam Rani. I too have this kind of kolam in my collection. In fact if you see, there are not many vegetables in kolams, but there quite a few pumpkin kolams only. Now that Lata has tempted us, everyone is coming up with new dimensions of veggie kolams - right ah Pushpa?? Neat pumpkins Pushpa - they remind me of lampshades too.. Your border is quite cute too :)

I am very fond of these pumpkins. Nicely executed work! You know, people here in the US carve these at the time of halloween (Oct 31). Carved pumpkins, horror movies, masks and trick-or-treat are a must during that time. Four more months to wait! Regards! - mOhana
