Bravo, for overcoming your shyness Asha! Now there's no looking back! In my vocabulary, anyone who is keen on keeping this art (or any for that matter)alive using any medium, is anything but an amateur. Collecting these pencil drawn/pen drawn patterns in a notebook is also not an easy task. One has to be careful with the dotted versions even more because one slip in the dot count, and you end up with a mess. Just by posting this design, do you have any idea how many people you're helping come up with new ideas? You also have to think about this from another perspective. By posting here, you've started to maintain your own kolam album, where many rangoli enthusiasts are going to post comments on your creations...and one can only improve further using those comments :)
