Our Golu this year has multiple themes. 1. Created a Temple like structure with photos. The temple represents 1 to 10 with 1 as Ganesha, 2 as the 2 Epics, 3 Trinity, 4 Vedas, 5 Panchabhuthas, 6 Aarupadai Muruga, 7 Saptha Kannigal, 8 Ashtalakshmi, 9 Navagraham and 10 being Dasavatars 2. Pancha bhootha sthalam 3. Seasons 4.Festivals - Pongal, Krishna Jayanthi, Vinayakar Chaturthi and Onam.
We also try to keep it interactive and engaging for the kids. This year, handed over 20 wooden peg dolls to kids, for them to decorate with paint, or costume. We also quiz them on the festivals and ask them to find dolls like the rubber snake or the Krishna who is hiding in the trees. This creates an interest in the children and helps them to participate
