Excellent. Looks really grand.
Table top rangolis look very beautiful indeed, and nice to hear from you after a long gap! :)
Its a neat idea, and makes a great place setting or party favors for all guests too.
We thought about you during the Diwali season, and also "visited" your last year's Diwali rangoli (Jain themed). Thank you for sharing this one of kind portable-table top rangolis. :)
The materials in the rangolis give a fused appearance, it would be nice to know the kind of materials used. I'm guessing plain sand for the filler-material at the base?
wow...these are great...i'm really curious to know how is it done...
Novel idea and nicely executed!

superb well design and a very great idea.
very different idea..
Looks really grand...different idea
Thank you all for the nice comments
We were lucky to get so many same containers. We stuck the candles first, than filled them with slightly moist sand (as dry sand was unstable) and after that we did the rangolis. The rangoli powder was coloured powdered marble (chiroli) and rubber colours. The laying and designs were done with cones and funnels. The fusing of the colours is shading of the background
Sandeep
its superb........
Superb rangoli, great idea, good color combination, unique designs..... I have no more words to expresss the beauty of it. By the way could you give the details of rubber colors and chiroli, where do u get them?
very good idea.
Chiroli is powdered white marble. If you can get powder marble than crush it even more. Sift it very finely. Colour the powder using food colours, permanent cloth dyes or vegetable dyes. In India I saw them in Rajkot Gujarat readily available. The rubber colours are industrial dyes used in making rubber slippers. I don't know how one get them in retail market
Wonderful idea! For me this is the first of this kind of rangoli.. Looks really awesome 'n' gr8 ..
