Swan & Lotus

Welcome to ikolam Ms.Malar! I feel like I've already met you. :) These ducks have nice expressive eyes. Please provide the dot count too, when you get a chance. Thank you so much. Your kolam instantly reminded me of your "relative" who got introduced to this site the same way; started off posting pencil-drawn designs, and today, dishes out fabulous padi kolams. :)

Indra, we too are the same, introduced by younger sisters,we becoming active members, drawing designs first in paper then finding some courtyard or writing table, kitchen top to try our experiment!!. I still remember your coffee powder matkolam.So both sisters are experts in drawing?. Malar, sorry instead of commmenting on your design went to chat with Indira. Your pencil drawing is looking really nice. the ducks with sharp beak stylish feathers and lovely eyes, the lotus half opened and the wavy line giving water effect are sure from a professional's hand. Hey Malar good to see you around now.. Your strokes remind me of Indira too (especially the centre and border flowers).. Your kolam is bold yet neat...
