Seeing Alpana for the first time though having heard of it. So intricate. Outer border has similarity with warli painting.

I like this quite a bit. Perhaps you can make it bigger. I sent a book on alpana for the Chennai meet. You'll find lots of designs in that.

Unfortunately I did not get a chance to see the book that JKM sent... but I must say that is a 'Black & White Beauty'.. though there are small flaws I think they can all be overlooked because it has come out really well - Asha thanks for doing something different :)
