If I get started on commenting about this rangoli, I'm afraid I might ramble on forever! :)
You captured the essence of it all quite well in this rangoli, great planning!
Rajammaji,With this rangoli we all celebrate WOMAN'S DAY.Excelent & beautiful thought for the woman's day.It come up very nice."HAPPY WOMAN'S DAY"
Happy women's Day to all friends. This was done 2 years back, but it went unnoticed. The women's roles and qualities were depicted here. ( Just want the new members to see this)
rajamma
Rajjamma and all the members”HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY.” Nothing could be better than this kolam to represent this day. Rajamma HATS OFF TO U AND UR CREATIVITY
I like the same central head for all the six women. Of course for such a scheme one cannot have eyes, etc. True, all the roles of the woman have been brought out. Compared to what the situation was one hundred years ago, even fifty years ago during my time (and yours too), things are far better now. But still, we need lots of improvement. Education is the key to this. One can glorify the old days on and on. But hardly any woman had education in those days. The only educated and cultured women in those days were the so-called dance girls who were kept at the edges of society. In fact the only sources of enjoyment for the woman in those days were singing at home or during the festivals and other religious functions as well as drawing rangOli. In that angle, rangOli occupied a unique place for woman back then. I can go on and on like this. Regards! - mOhana
Though it was drawn on 2 years back,it is very beautiful.nice concept and well drawn with one head.I like their holding hands portion.thank you rajam for sharing this once again. :)
