Rani, When I saw this kolam in the morning, I just stared at it for a longer time, could not think of giving any comment. I wanted to study the unique design leisurely. Just now I again opened the site and there it is as ROD!. As you said this design needs more patience to draw it without any mistake taking into account the symmetry part also.You have done a wonderful job.Very neatly drawn and the intricate decorations done with minute details.For me the design looks like Shanka in different angles.If any jweller sees this he will create a pendent in this design .
(So ur hunt in a pazhaya paper kadai yeilded a treasure?! )
What a symmetry? what perfection? great intricacy, superb execution. Just no words to describe or appreciate your kolam. I dont think i will ever try to replicate it. So wonderful strokes and It desersves a grammy or Oscar if there is one for kolams.!!!
