Very nice. Done so perfectly on water. Well done.
it has come out very nice.
Nicely done...is it a stencil u have used...pl let us know how u have made this....very pretty...
very nicely done kolam....
yes. i cut out a stencil in a chart paper & inserted 4 bell pins in all 4 directions from the back of it , in order to lift the chart once we finish the coloring. procedure is very simple.
1. take a fancy bowl / tray / thambalam /urli & fill it with water.
2. sprinkle a thick coat of any talcum powder with a help of a tea net.
3. cut out [ or readymade ] stencil in a proper size of your chosen base.
4. place the stencil on the top of the plate with bell pins .
5. now , start coloring it by using tea net agian for the even look. you can choose any no of colors as you wish.
6. once done , slowly & carefully lift the stencil by holding the bell pins from both the sides without any shake.
7. finally , flower decoration can be done from outside.
note: no shakes plz .... thatswhy i opted for a stencil method instead of a free hand drawing in the fear of shaking.
