HAPPY PONGAL

Friends, I drew the HAPPY PONGAL rangoli for Vasal/Suriyan Pongal with 21 - 11 interlaced dots. I enclose the pencil sketch with the dot grid as first image. The second image is the colored version of my rangoli. The center portion of the rangoli is a dotted one. The outer portion (Border) is both freehand and dotted for the decoration of the rangoli. Hope u all like it... Eagerly waiting for ur views.... :)

Your hexagon rangoli with all pongal motifs is pretty! The dot grid and the drawing is also very clear. Two paanais, one with sakkara pongal and other with ven pongal, have folk touch! The floor, back ground and border are complimenting each other!

Lovely kolam. U have taken care to bring all the theme of Pongal in your rangoli.very pretty borders. the lady welcoming the thai pongal is very natural. I like this part of rangoli. You have an excellent art skill .congrats Gomathi

Magnificent work!!! Coloring, neatness, and inclusion of all elements of pongal makes your kolam stand out. Lots of small detailing in this kolam like the 2 different pongals in the paanai and the tambulam thattu make this really a very good theme kolam. Excellent work. I loved it.

Extremely pretty! Good left-right symmetry too. Sugarcanes are too fat, though :-) The central "S" between the pots could have been converted to "8" to preserve symmetry. Good use of the dot display. Best of luck! Regards! - mOhana

woooooow Gomathi magnifieint work, kolam has come out very well with all the elements, with good extensions and good use of colours with a neat work. Only one thing is that you should have used lemon yellow colour for the sugarcane which could have given a natural effect as the background is black.. overall good.

Very well done, what a thought !! it has everything that's required for a pongal. Nice colours have also been used, hope you would have taken more than 2 hrs to complete this.
