Akila this is really very pretty, only thing the proportion of the body and the beak of the bird is not ok.. Next time make the beak a little bigger and see the difference...

pretty bird...yes as Judyji says, needs a bigger beak to eat more to fill the stomach :) ......can we get more explanation on this Jardosi work? are they stones or something glued/stiched to the cloth?

Judy, the birds beak became thinner by continuous eating , I think... Birdi looks very healthy. ( Lata,my earlier comment gott translated in English by itself?)

This is quite good, nicely done. The background colour matches nicely with the peacock. I checked several peacock pictures. The beak is about 1/3 of the face. I think it is like that in this picture too. I don't think the comment on the beak's size is justified. It may look like that because of the gap introduced. Regards! - mOhana

No madam, it didn't get translated by itself. I translate the tamil and hindi comments to english, whenever I notice them during the day. :)

(Thank you for your comment everyone. All the work that you see in this piece has been done by hand (stitched), and nothing is pasted on (using gum). Lata, this is Akila saree, not Sneha saree. லதா இது ஸ்நெஹ சாரீ இல்லை. இது அகிலா சாரீ. just for joke. dont mistake me latha. thank u very much for all.

:) I stand corrected. The double color shade and the sheen reminded me of the Sneha saree that I have, and hence the question. :)
