Suba, congrats. I am so thrilled to see your PC version of solving this puzzlekolam.If a Maths teacher comes to know the result of her student getting centum (100/100) how she will be feeling? ... thatis the state of my mind and happiness now.
I had the old magazine (Mangai, december 1983) paper with this puzzle with conditions.The answer would have been published in the next issue. I myself not sure of the answer. Since I am not familiar with computer drawing , I tried paper drawings and arrived at the pinwheel design. Then made 9 such pinwheel paper cuttings and joined them to get this design.So I thought if other members could get some other perfect design it will be fun. Though Anirudh alone tried, but could not finish, I thought let me give the basic design and my answer.
Since yours and mine matches, I think it is the correct answer! :)

Thank you so much rajam.I got centum from you? o. so thrilling.but I had no clues other than yours.i followed your clues,I got the design.no interesting stories behind it.After seeing your basic design I finished this kolam with in half an hour.without your basic design I could not finished it.I only joined the lines and got the design .All credits goes to you teacher.Any how I am also happy to participate in the puzzle game.Thanks to you to give me this opportunity :bigsmile: 8) .
