Wow! Very nice rangoli sowmya.... All your rangolis should be selected as ROD...Plz tell me the technique of spreading the colour powder so beautifully....do you have any spl device hiding in your hand...bring it out. :D since i am not able to find out were the dot starts and ends i am unable to copy this type of rangolis of yours :((
Thanks for your comments Vidhya.....simple way of colour spreading just ensure that they are done in one direction either vertically or horizontally. Lines are drawn with colour kolapodi and adjusted using a very soft cloth so that it looks very even. the dot count is 17 dots five rows and 11 dots 3 rows and 5 dots 3 rows .. just try and let me know. :)
Thank you Lakshmi for selecting my rangoli as the ROD. :) Thank you Suguna, Lakshmi, Subha mam, Kala, Jaya mam, Vidhya and Rajamma mam (sure will wait for your comments)for enjoying this kolam and leaving your most valuable appreciation. :) The dot count for this kolam is 17-5-5..sorry for the error while typing. :)
Sowmya, first I thought it is an "I" kolam, a tribute to our 'ikolam' with so many I's spread here and there with sharp edges and broken pieces.Later only realised u played with Swasthiks. :)
Really a very nice design, like zig-zaw puzzle kolam.
Needless to praise the choice of two mild colors, neat flawless drawing , color filling.. and simple but cute decoration with twirls which are your specialities. ;)
Getting confused counting the dots, but u corrected it soon 8)
I must say this is the 'rangoli of the week... ROD' since we waited for the new uploads for the past few days
( by the way why no reply to my cafe post?)
