Nice combination of Magenta and purple colors, Sowmya. Kolam looks wonderful. I'm not sure if my guess is going to be right, but, I would take a chance and say this could be Rajam madam's. :D

Sowmya, 10 days back I saw this beautiful work and wrote a detailed comment and before I could click the sent/save button my computer crashed.Only today I am able to log on. This is one of my favourite design,when I entered ikolam I drew this design on paper and uploaded it and again drew this on the floor with wet maavu. But at that time very few enjoyed this design. But when you choose this SIMPLE design to copy from my gallery I am really thrilled. You have done an excellent job. The coloring and drawing are so perfect making it look like a painting.Thanks for popularising this design. ( whenever I made this kolam inmy front yard atleast a dozen people come and ask me for the paper drawing with the clear dot count .Though it looks simple it is a little complicated no?)

Thanks a lot. :) Yes it was slightly difficult to understand the design at the first go but I copied step by step and did this kolam. Both your versions look very good. Thanks a lot for such a wonderful design and hope to do some other kolams of you as well. :) :)
