Wow, looks stunning in white and pink! :D I loved your question too. I agree with you, I finally know why I had put on so many pounds. Got to get ready to make huge kolams pretty soon! :bigsmile: Anyone wants to join me in wanting to reduce some weight? I'm not joking. Maybe doing some other activities can help. :party:

Stunning white and pink angel from u uma...yes dear making biiiig kolams helps us to reduce weight...but people like me gain double d cals after seeing our friends lovely, encouraging comments....hahaha... :p ;) eppudiiii....how is it... :p

Whether you have put on weight or not after the gap your kolam has realy put on weight !11. See the added thick outlines in the border!.But the kolam is looking very beautiful. Nice coloring and resembles that of Lakashmi's work. Yes, putting kolam on the floor is a good excercise, gives energy to the body and mind also.( But it should be early morning for minumum one hour )

Kolathu mele focus light pota madhiri very bright. Sorry for mixing tamil and english.. Very good tip you have given to reduce weight... But i think we have to get up at 3o'colck itself to put a big kolam like Lakshimi raghu..... :D :D

Lata dear I am readyo-ready to reduce weight but it never happens :( naan paavam. I dont think I lost any weight doing kolams but my mind remains calm and composed and I feel a sense of relaxation after I do a good kolam and get your sweet-filled comments :) :)

lata i won't to join u do u know in last one and half month i gained 5 kg .Better i should start putting dotted rangoli because for one small rangoli i will take atleast 6-7 hours(don't know how many attempts). rajamma mam lakshmi does daily 2 hr kolam from 4 am to 6 am really super work by her and she takes picture in the morning blue light really good to see.

Uma dear thank u forliking the silly poem written by me .I would like to share my new experience and enjoyment with u people .last saturday i have attended one anaual day function of one of the english school in the central mumbai as a chief guest .Children have presented 5-6 dances and skits .i was shocked to see the expression of children face during the tandv nratya especially of shiva .Today's children are definitely more smarterand fast learner than us. we have to lern lot of things from them .They enjoyed my lecture with demonstration and i enjoyed their company If possible when i get the photographs i will upload the same .

Nice n bright Rangoli Uma!!!Thank you for the tips for weight management. I too agree with your statement, making big kolam certainly helps to make you physically fit as well as mentally active. After making a big kolam I always used to do like this, I myself enjoy my kolam first and then I will go to the terrace. From there I will view and enjoy my kolam again. Then I will come down to ground floor, if I am 100% satisfied then only I will take a photograph and upload...

Uma, as Jaishree has put correctly drawing a big kolam in the morning is a yoga by itself. Our Rani and Maharani gain energy for the whole day by doing this yoga. What else proof you need?
