No pa...i found this as a tiny pattern in my uduppi rangoli book...wanted to try a bigger version during margazhi itself but didn't know how to space evenly....after lot of research... :p kept dots as usual and did this smaller one....one day will try to do d bigger one also... :bigsmile:

I had this drawing with me , just postponing to try on the floor. Now I remember to have copied from the "Udipi" collections.
Nice design drawn neatly. Of course I love this because of the lavender coloring. I am an admirer of these type of line kolams.
( I am going to suggest Lata, to give equal treatment to all the uploads, other than "ROD". Sometimes so many nice kolams hiding in the ordinary Q of dotted or freehand kolams colomn escape our attentions and thus few only enjoy and comment. Why a few kolams only coming on the slide show day in and day out? others enna PAAVAM panneeththtu? )
rajamma mam ,, on d other day when i talked with lata abt this same issue she clarified me fewer doubts,,, kindly check in d RANGOLI option which consists of all d kolams both dotted,,, freehand and rod in d same pg,,,, sure we wont miss any beauties,,,
Thanks uma and rajamma mam....i think all d kolams r arranged according to d time of upload ...so there is a chance for earlier uploads published on a particular day to be seen in d next page...when we click "more"... found straight to d freehand and dotted kolams in a homepage most of us only see d 1st page...maybe an earlier uploaded kolam is seen in d next page... :)
