I think you can make these roses to do hairbands provided a small rubberband is fixed to it.

Thanks a lot Judy Ma'am & Sumathi Ma'am..... I ensure Super Sonia wud be delighted with the title.... Sumathi Ma'am, making a hairband of this rose was the basic idea behind making itself... She also knitted a Shawl with the U needle and fixed these roses in a pattern.... just got an idea to make a thoranam out of it.....
