The dot count is mentioned among the tags at the top of this design. It is 13 dots (at the central line), tapering to 7 dots at both the top and bottom. The dot style is interlaced (not parallel). For drawing the strokes I suggest keeping this page as a reference and trying it out on a paper with pencil, for starters. I think it would be easy to figure out one you see how the flowers and bells shaped structures get laid out on the dot-grid here. Best of luck for the competition. Do let us know how you did. :)
