Wow...rajamma mam...this is looking like a designer bed-spread....ya u have interestingly outshown d blue parts and supressed d original star design which would have looked prominent in this kolam....great mami...btw is d dot count 15x1...
Rajam mami, (as pushpa and Rani started calling u as mami, i too thought of calling like that), this is a novel design. Beautifully coloured and neat presentation from you.

Maha, just so you know, "Mami" is not how she likes to be called (based on her comments from a couple of years back). :)
(And, she doesn't want me to address her as "madam". Since she wanted me to call her by her first name, I call her Rajam, just the way she prefers). :)
Oh, thanks Lata for the info. Sorry Rajam mam for calling you as mami but I prefer to address you as mam because i feel somewhat guilty to call you with name. Hope u don't mind.

Iam happy to learn that you all see deep into all the kolams and their designs. Yes Rani, I too realized that the yellow colour has supressed the star design..If that was done with dark color this design may look different and more beautiful. How about you trying this? The dot count is 21-1 straight dots.( sorry, forgot to mention it while uploading.) To get this design I have connected the lines in between dots also at some places.
Maha, yes, as Lata said I liked to be called by my name or by the way my grand children call me.. Paaatti.( when I got married and went to sasural, my husband being the only mama to 13 of his neice and nephews of my age , they all started calling me 'Maamee" which I wanted to change now atleast in our circle)

Wonderful kolam and colouring pattern, Ms.Rajam. I always want to adopt your energy and creativity let me try copying this design, if not possible, i will try once you upload the basic pattern. Every time you treat us with new inventions. Hats off.
Very innovative thought process rajamma....Pera solliye koopidaren. I see the big discussion on how to address you.
I will call you Rajamma only. My MIL's mothers name is also rajamma and I address her the same way.
BTW, Very good creativity. Romba Azhaga irukku. I definitely couldnt make out the star design of the kolam.
You have treated us with a new invention! Lots to learn from you.
