Rajmmaji, please write the description part of this kolam in the comment area or email it to me. It was lost in transit while I was working with it (during a system crash). I've written a little bit of what I could remember. :)

This kolam will be looking very nice if colored. the dot count is 15-8 inbetween dots. then 3,2,1 in all six sides.Filling design and border as per ur imagination u can put.
Alright! I guess I'll get used to it over time, eventhough it sounds a bit strange to call you Rajam :)
Thank you for the description, and for a one of a kind kolam! I'll add it to the file.
ok, now I'm confused. I just noticed my typo in the first comment.
Would you prefer Rajammaji or just Rajam. I promise to stick with whatever you like. :)
There is a name for such a picture like yours, rAjammAjI. It is called chiarascuro! Long ago, in the Illustrated weekly of India, there used to be a column (by I believe Raman) caleld chiaroscuro. As beautiful as this rangOli is, the photography is the winner here, a treasure piece for posterity!
