Thank you Lata for saying 'Our Kolam of the week" I feel very elated... Purni and Asha - the colour touch is done specially for learners to identify the different sections so as to learn the kolam easily (as Rajamma has mentioned above)that's the basic idea. I used to find it difficult to sort out the sections in some very difficult chikku kolams sometimes, so I am making it earlier to others, especially for the younger generation to grasp as when they see the confusing lines itself they shun drawing kolams - Rajamma remember we discussed this at the Chennai Meet - how to entice the younger generation so that the tradition is carried on - hope I am doing my bit well...

Jayanthiji, one would have to wait only if they had submissions in the queue that have not been uploaded yet. I've been uploading yours on a daily basis, and they keep coming! Sort of like Amudha surabhi! :) I see that there are a few more, so may be you could start uploading from Monday? :)
