Well Gowri, what can I say, I mean not everybody can be as hard working as you! :) Who knows, maybe the lady who is responsible for this site could be a lazy one, who just plops on her sofa and watches soaps all day long! Why don't you email her and ask her to speed up a little, sounds like she can learn a thing or two from you. :)

Dear Jaya Mohan, This so called padi kolam is not inspiration from Rajamma amma, if i ever upload the inspiration (exactly copied ) kolam of Rajamma amma(the padi kolam on her relatives engagement) made by me in chalk everyone in this forum will come and beat me, i dont have courage to upload that :-), by the way is there any meets in the month of May in chennai ? If so let me know, i will be in chennai that time . Thank you..

Gowri,share your inspiration kolam also with us! Atleast we will get a chance to come to Singapore to beat you! If you inform the dates on which you are available at Chennai, we will try to meet one day! Btw, when is your marriage? Is it at Chennai?

very nice, rather than padi kolam, it resemebles Warli Art usually drawn on walls....hmmm may be because of those small highlighting lines....good one

Dear Rajamma amma, Neenga sollitingana edhu kollamey illa just boxes tan :-)))) !!!! Your kolams are so traditional. I love them all. Going to copy the engagement padi kolam of yours for my brothers marriage this May. Sangu,Chakram,Deepam,Sun and border I cant make kolams without these. I have tried many times to avoid those but during final finishing it pops into the kolam without my knowledge. My wedding would be somewhere around year end 2009... Fiance's name sollala ma ?? hahahaha :-))))) Nagarajan ... So again it would be Gowri Manohari Nagarajan instead of Gowri Manohari Narayanan. Can you please let us know how padi kolam got its name ? What is its speciality ? How it originated ? Padi la podurathunalaya ? illa padi padi ya podurathunalaya :-))
