Nice padi kolam. I too changed by mangal suthra rope and tied a small rope (nombu kayiru) around my neck with a small piece of turmeric tied to the rope. My MIL prepared the sweet and salt adai for prasadham

Very nice red and white padi kolam. Cute extensions. We also celebrated Kaaradaiyaan Nonbu by preparing uppu and vella adai and tying the yellow thread in the neck. I also put maa kolam, which I shall upload in a day or two.
