Beautiful rangoli, and a nice color combination of light orange and maroon. Maybe, if the smaller rectangles weren't there, the basic swastic shape would've been more prominent (just my thought) :)
Lotuses are simple and very pretty.
Nice, colorful...mix of swastik and Sitadevi thurubu (hair knot)???....double storkes in one go could have made it more aligned.
Lataji, own rangolis are for special days....stickers are for everyday :)
Thank u lata,purni,radpri,judy and anirudh.This kolam i am not fully satisfied with the finishing ,but i was in a hurry.Lata,in apartments,rare people put kolam daily. They stick the kolams and it will not come out.Is there any way to remove the sticker easily.
Madhuji, there is a product called WD-40, and it is a cleaning product in a spray can.
It dissolves adhesives, allowing easy removal of labels, tape, stickers, and excess bonding material. And, it also cleans grease/grime. I hope it is available in India too.
I like the subdued colours in the rangOli.
I don't know what sort of gum or sticky material they use in India. To this day we are trying to remove some stickers on the stainless steel utensils brought from India, no success ;-)
